Contest rules and regulations

About the contest

  • The contest is an initiative promoted by the countries involved in the project (Cyprus, Poland, Lithuania, Romania, Greece, North Macedonia, Austria and Portugal).
  • The contest involves the design of a logo that can identify the project.
  • The submitted logos must be original.

Aims

  • a) promote the development of an activity that leads to the production of a project identification symbol
  • b) promote creativity
  • c) promote the connection between all the people involved in the project.

Conditions of submission

  • a) the works must be performed individually or in groups of young people from each of the organisations
  • b) the works must not include any identification of the countries involved in the project
  • c) the works can be the result of design on the computer or by the resource to painting, drawing, etc.
  • d) the works must be photographed or recorded in image format (preferably JPG)
  • e) the deadline to submit the works is January 31st, 2024
  • f) After selection by the jury in each organisation, the files with the works submitted to competition must be sent to Projects's manager email without the author's identification (nicckolas44@gmail.com).
  • g) Each organisation may send up to a maximum of three logos.

Winner selection criteria

Online voting / deadlines

  • The vote is open to 56 representatives (youngsters that are taking part in the program) from each organisation through the emails of coordinators. Actually, the logos that each country has to vote for will be sent by email to each coordinator and the participants will vote either in the organisations or anywhere else each coordinator decides.
  • Those 56 representatives are not allowed to vote on the country's own proposals. The voting period runs from February 1st to February 10th, 2024.
  • Votes must be sent to the Cyprus coordinator until February 10, 2024, to prepare the results (In the email nicckolas44@gmail.com).
  • Results will be announced in the online meeting with all participants that we are going to have on Thursday, February 15, in google meet at 19:00 CET in the link: meet.google.com/wdg-cwrb-wxv
  • Results will be extracted and displayed on the page analytically with the votes of each organization, so all will be clear in the voting.

Winner selection criteria

  • a) the winner will be the participant or participants that gather the highest number of votes in the international voting
  • b) in the event of a tie, the winner will be chosen by the jury (project coordinators in each country)

The results will be disclosed on the project web page and Facebook page of the program.
