"Speak Up Your Feelings" – Erasmus+ project
Pissouri, Cyprus | 02-10 April 2024 (National team from North Macedonia)

The experience:

For most of the participants this was a first Erasmus+ project they attended and they were thrilled to share their experience. "Excited, fun and unforgettable" were the words they used when summing up the impressions. They enjoyed the pleasant and positive atmosphere there and the people. When speaking about the experience they mentioned that they enjoyed the accommodation and the good food, the free time in the pool in between the activities and mostly they liked the way the organizers of the project were approaching and were explaining the activities to them. They got the chance to meet new people and new cultures, but also to share theirs. This project motivated them to participate to other projects for young people and continue sharing the idea of making new friends and adventures in a new interesting way.

The workshops:

When it comes to the workshops, the participants form North Macedonia had the greatest time. They had the opportunity to learn about the others but also for themselves too. They especially enjoyed the workshops held by the Lithuanian team "Draw your feelings" and the "SUPFELvision". They had to use their imaginations and creativity to fully participate but also their skills for team work which made the experience better. As much as they enjoyed participating in the activities, they also gave their best to make the same great experience for the others by organizing one of the workshops. The sun, the waves and the music on the beach were some of the elements of their workshop. After they explained the activity, they gave other participants time to find their stone and draw their feelings. They talked, they laughed and they had the greatest time with each other

At both events we had at our school, where students who went to the Youth Exchange in Cyprus study, we got to share a lot of cool stuff. Some of our friends had never heard about Erasmus+ or been part of any project like this before, so these sessions were a big deal for them. We talked about what we did in Cyprus, what the project was all about, and showed off what we created (check out the presentation we made). Plus, we didn't just talk—we actually did some of the activities with everyone there. We tried out different types of workshops, like energizers, ice breakers, and sessions on the main topic, so everyone got a taste of what we experienced. We're super proud that we could share this experience and make a big impact on our peers!
